【Abstract】 Objective To explore the species of pathogens causing neonatal pneumonia and antimicrobial susceptibility analysis. Methods To collect 83 cases of neonatal peneumonia from Dec. 2004 to Dec. 2006.56 cases were community acquired pneumonia, and their sputum were taken before the 48 hours from admit. The other 27 cases were hospital acquired pneumonia, and their sputum were taken after diagnosis. Results ①Community acquired pneumonia:pathogenic bacteria were detected from 29 cases(masc rate 51.79%), in which 93.10% were Gramnegative bacillus. ②Hospital acquired pneumonia:pathogenic bacteria were detected from 18 cases(masc rate 66.67%),in which 92% were Gramnegative bacillus. Conclusions ①The main species of pathogens causing neonatal pneumonia are Gramnegative bacillus. ②Most GramNegative bacillus are resistant to the third cephalosporin and sensitive to imipenem. Grampositive bacteria are sensitive to vancomycin.
