Abstract:ObjectiveTo establish the animal model of the anti-inflammatory properties of Houttuynia cordata Thunb. MethodsTo make the inflammation model via injecting preparation into hypodermic, inducing mice ear edema by xylene, and ear wafer-weighting.Then test the effects of anti-inflammation of Houttuynia cordata Thunb. ResultsThe best inducing mice ear edema time for xylene was 1h and the effect of anti-inflammation of the preparation reached the best after injected 2h. When the mouse had been injected with preparation for 6 times, the degree of edema was the lowest. When the mouse had been dosed with 80 μl/20 g, the degree of edema inhibition was the highest. The animal model of the anti-inflammatory properties of mice ear turgidity of Houttuynia cordata Thunb.preparation was established. ConclusionThe animal model of the anti-inflammation is an ideal model for studying Houttuynia cordata Thunb. The five kinds of Houttuynia cordata Thunb.preparations have obvious anti-inflammatory effect on mice in which the number eight was the best.
